Scavenger Hunt Sunday - October 21, 2012

Hi,  I'm joining in on the Scavenger Hunt again.
This week the prompts were:
Orange/or Pink
Faceless Portrait (Selfie)
View from the Top
Cozy and Stacked.

Orange:

We put out this Orange Pumpkin every year for Halloween, This year we added this bat that I made out of a styrofoam ball and toothpicks, masking tape and paper.

Faceless Portrait:  My grandma showed me how to set the timer so I could take this picture.

I am coloring in one of my giant coloring books.

View from the Top:

This is a plowed field up on top of Scenic Loop.  My Grandma drove us up there one afternoon and I liked how the field looked from the view on top.

Cozy:

Look at me all cozy in my bed (I'm pretending to be asleep) so I could take a picture of how I look when I wake up in the morning at the end of my bed.  I move around a lot in the night and when I wake up I'm always at the end of my bed with my blankets tucked around me.

Stacked:

This is my new Sand Art Kit that I got today and I stacked the colors, Pink, Yellow and Green together to make this pretty swan.

I will try to visit some of your blogs and leave comments.  Thanks for visiting mine.
Coleen.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday - October 7, 2012

Hi,  I want to say "Thank You" to everyone who visited my blog last week and left me such nice comments about my 1st Scavenger Hunt. - I'm joining in again this week.

I took all the pictures again.  My grandma helps me with getting them edited and today is doing the typing for me.  I'm telling her what to say though about each picture.

Join me now for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

SHADOW:

I got the idea for this picture while my Grandma was trying to help me with a different picture for Shadow.  I saw her shadow and thought it would be cool to take a picture of both of our shadows holding the cameras so that's what we did.

KEYS:
I got this idea trying to find my set of baby keys but I remembered that we had these keys and you need keys to drive a car so I used one of my toy cars along with the keys to get this shot.

SMILE
This is a picture of one of my stuffed animals that I let my "Granny" use at the hospital  once this  past summer and after she got home I let her keep it.  It made her smile.  PS: It has a cute smile as well.

UNEDITED
I took a picture of this Indian painted on a rock for my Grandpa who likes Indian pictures.  I also think Grandpa looks like an Indian because he has long hair that he wears in a braid.

SPICE:
I was trying to find a picture for spice when I remembered that we had Hot sauce that is spicy and I thought it would be a good thing for the spice prompt.

I may not be able to comment on all of your blogs but I want you to know that I really like looking at your pictures and taking pictures too.  Coleen.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday - Sept. 30, 2012

This is my first time doing the Scavenger Hunt.   I am almost 8 years old and like taking picture so I asked my Grandma if I could use her camera and take pictures for the Scavenger Hunt like she does.

My Grandma got me interested in trying it.  I took all of the pictures myself and my Grandma helped me do the frames. I picked the Colors and the Fonts and did my own typing.

I took this photograph at the store. I hope you like this as much as I do. It is cheerful.

This is our dog, Cricket. She is getting ready to eat one of her delicious cookies. Isn't she cute?

I took this picture because my Grandma was having me look around Klicker's. We came across this sparkly witch shoe. I liked it as well as she did.

Cherry tomatoes are good, but did you know they have teeny  tiny seeds.

This chain is connected.  Spooky isn't it?

Thank you for looking at my pictures. Coleen

Rats on the Loose

Wheezy is my rat.  We have two rats, this is one of them. I accidentally closed his tail in his rat cage door and the skin of his tail fell off and I was scared.
I did the right thing and told my Grandma and Grandpa what happened to Wheezy's tail.
He had to go to the Vet and get an operation on his tail and a stitch.  He is fine now.

This is my other rat, Cheesy. He is Wheezy's twin brother.  I got them for Christmas in 2010. They are 1 year old now.

Cheesy does not like his picture taken but Wheezy does. Cheesy does not have part of his tail missing.

My rats live in their cage in the basement of my Grandma and Grandpa's house where I am living right now along with my mommy.
I don't live in the basement though.

Cheesy is a real pig with his food and snacks.
Wheezy doesn't eat as much but he is fine.
I like my rats.

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him

Here is a drawing Coleen did on Sunday after Church.  It's now hanging on the wall going up our stairs to the 2nd floor.

She's included from left-right,
Wisemen, Goat, Pig, Camel,
Mary, Baby Jesus, Joseph, Cow and a Sheep.
There is an Angel in the Sky and a Star (that's the red thing)
Then she has the moon (not sure why it's pink with dots on it though) and another star over the stable.

Isn't it wonderful that she understands the "Reason For the Season."

Gingerbread Train

Hi!  Today I am sharing a picture that Coleen drew and colored.
We have a Fiber Optic Gingerbread Train decoration that she just loves so today she decided to draw it.  Here is her picture and below is her Inspiration.

I think she did a pretty good job drawing and coloring the train.  Please leave her a comment as I read them to her.  She loves knowing that people are reading her blog.  Grandma just needs to keep it more up to date for her until she learns to type.

They have the kids going to Computer Lab (in Kindergarten) so it won't be long now.
